2004 National Congress and Expo for Manufactured and Modular Housing 

Call for Presentations
Submission Deadline: September 30, 2003

The Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) and the Manufactured Housing Educational Institute (MHEI) are soliciting proposals for the educational sessions to be held at the 2004 National Congress and Expo for Manufactured and Modular Housing at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 13-15, 2004. You are invited to share your expertise and experience by submitting an educational program proposal on-line, using the form below.

MHI and MHEI encourage you to submit a program proposal on any topic that you feel is relevant and timely for the industry. The attendance at the 2004 National Congress and Expo for Manufactured and Modular Housing is predominantly comprised of retailers, community owners and managers, finance companies, after market suppliers and service companies, and manufacturers of HUD Code and modular homes. Approximately 1,500 people attend the Congress and Expo each year.

Proposals will be reviewed by a team of industry professionals with expertise in the sectors of the industry mentioned above. Proposals will be evaluated on four criteria

1. Relevance and timeliness of topic to today's manufactured and modular housing industries
2. Well-defined topic
3. Practical application of material
4. Presenter qualifications

Presenter Policy and Workshop Information

Programs are scheduled to be 1 and ½ hours in length. Audience size ranges from 40 to 200 people.

Programs are for presentation by an individual or a panel. No more than two individuals from a company can participate on the same panel.

More than one proposal may be presented by an individual. An individual may participate in no more than two workshops during the 2004 National Congress and Expo for Manufactured and Modular Housing.

All workshop presenters receive complimentary registration to the 2004 National Congress and Expo for Manufactured and Modular Housing. (Hotel and travel expenses are the responsibility of the individual.)

A Presenter must prepare handout material relevant to his or her presentation and forward an original copy to MHI no later than March 15, 2004.

A biography of each presenter is required and will be included in the handout material with each workshop.
