Last week, Clayton broke ground on a new neighborhood of 31 energy-efficient eBuilt homes in Daviess County, KY. These modern manufactured homes will promote sustainable, attainable homeownership for community residents.

The new homes will bring attainable housing inventory to the community, and since they are built to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Zero Energy Ready Home™ specifications, it’s estimated that homeowners will save up to 50% on annual energy costs.

MHI Economic Report: November Data Released

Manufactured housing production in November 2025 fell 16.2% year-over-year and fell 0.3% year-to-date. Single-section shipments declined 4.6% year-to-date, while multi-section shipments rose 3.0%.

House Moves to Reinstate HUD as Sole Regulator for Manufactured Housing

The House Rules Committee met Tuesday, Jan. 6 and voted to bring H.R. 5184, the Affordable HOMES Act, to the House floor with one hour of debate and one motion to recommit. A simple majority would be needed for passage and a vote by the House of Representatives is expected later this week.
