FHA Rescinds Appraisal Policies

The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) rescinded three appraisal-related policies introduced in previous years. The rescinded policies included borrower-initiated reconsideration of value (ROV) updates and fair housing compliance requirements for appraisers. The action immediately removed these policies from HUD guidelines and will be formally incorporated in an updated FHA Single Family Housing Policy Handbook.

Manufacturer Production and Market Share Released for Third Quarter

In Q3 2025, U.S. manufactured home production totaled 25,727 units, with year-to-date output reaching 79,556 homes. Clayton topped the list with 46.77% share and 12,033 homes produced this quarter.
