On February 15 at 2 PM ET, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Strong Families initiative is hosting a webinar for communities to learn how to partner with Job Corps Centers and assist residents with placement into the program. Job Corps is the nation’s largest cost-free residential employment training program. Participants (ages 16-24) receive career training, medical care, meals and a living stipend, all free of charge. MHI Outlines Key Ways Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Should Be Serving Manufactured Housing

The Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) has submitted two formal comment letters to U.S. Federal Housing (FHFA) Director Bill Pulte about how Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac should increase their support for manufactured housing. In the two formal comment letters responding to a proposed rule on Enterprise Housing Goals for 2026–2028 and the regulator’s strategic plan for Fiscal Years 2026–2030, MHI urged that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac explicitly prioritize manufactured housing.
