This 3 bedroom, 2-bathroom, 1292 square foot single-section Smart Cottage was initially constructed for a community near Denton, in North Texas. With a modern design twist, it has been seamlessly integrated into a 2-story home with a garage and storage space below, providing an additional 1292 square feet of usable space.

MHI Economic Report: November Data Released
Manufactured housing production in November 2025 fell 16.2% year-over-year and fell 0.3% year-to-date. Single-section shipments declined 4.6% year-to-date, while multi-section shipments rose 3.0%.
House Moves to Reinstate HUD as Sole Regulator for Manufactured Housing
The House Rules Committee met Tuesday, Jan. 6 and voted to bring H.R. 5184, the Affordable HOMES Act, to the House floor with one hour of debate and one motion to recommit. A simple majority would be needed for passage and a vote by the House of Representatives is expected later this week.
