Each year, MHI celebrates the industry’s success over the past year through the MHI Excellence in Manufactured Housing Awards. The MHI annual awards program honors those in the manufactured and modular housing industry who continue to pave the way by providing outstanding products, customer service, creative solutions, and state-of-the-art homes. MHI Outlines Key Ways Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Should Be Serving Manufactured Housing

The Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) has submitted two formal comment letters to U.S. Federal Housing (FHFA) Director Bill Pulte about how Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac should increase their support for manufactured housing. In the two formal comment letters responding to a proposed rule on Enterprise Housing Goals for 2026–2028 and the regulator’s strategic plan for Fiscal Years 2026–2030, MHI urged that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac explicitly prioritize manufactured housing.
