The Manufactured Housing Industry of Arizona (MHIA) recently hosted an installer training event that brought together industry professionals—manufacturers, installers and state officials—to dive deep into best practices, hands‑on installation techniques and code compliance.

Throughout the training, participants engaged in interactive demonstrations covering critical steps such as proper foundation anchoring, precise skirting installations and efficient utility connections. Seasoned trainers emphasized the importance of consistent adherence to HUD standards and shared real‑world troubleshooting tips that installers can apply immediately on the job.

One of the key themes was safety: from using protective equipment during setup to implementing stringent inspection protocols before a home is occupied. Watch the full video below to learn more about how the industry came together to promote safety and support professional growth.
