President Delays Steel and Aluminum Tariffs, Orders Trade Study

President Trump has postponed the implementation of steel and aluminum tariffs and directed his trade team to study reciprocal tariffs. The new tariff proposals have come earlier and with broader scope than those in his first administration, though only a 10% tariff on Chinese imports has taken effect so far. President Trump has proposed a 15% corporate tax rate for domestic manufacturers.
