The RV/MH Hall of Fame is looking for a visionary new President to guide a venue dedicated to celebrating the rich history of two vibrant industries. This role will highlight the pioneers who shaped these industries and the countless individuals who have embraced the innovative products they provide.

The Hall’s modern facilities in Elkhart, IN include:

• An RV Museum displaying a rare historical collection portraying RV’s role in family fun, exploring nature and sightseeing;

• The Scoular Manufactured Housing Museum showcasing the industry’s involvement in providing the dream of home ownership to millions of people;

• Hall of Fame inductee recognition areas, gift shop and a theatre;

• A library with archives of industry history and data;

• More than 78,000 sq. ft. of convention, meeting and exhibit space;

• A 21,000 sq. ft., year-round pavilion;

• Beautiful grounds; and

• A convenient location on a major interstate highway

Supported by an engaged board and many generous companies and individuals, the organization is positioned for sustained growth and success as the long-time volunteer president retires.

The incoming President will focus on enhancing internal operations, continuing the Hall of Fame’s mission, and elevating the visitor experience.

Among the qualifications for this position are:

• Proven leadership experience.

• Industry knowledge, related experience, an ability to learn quickly.

• Strong managerial capabilities.

• Sales and marketing experience

• Familiarity with meetings and conventions

• An understanding of financial reports

• Flexibility to serve a variety of constituencies.

Manufacturer Production and Market Share Released for Fourth Quarter

In the fourth quarter of 2025, U.S. manufactured home production totaled 23,313 units, with year-to-date output reaching 102,962 homes. Clayton topped the list with 45.52% share and 10,612 homes produced in the fourth quarter.

HUD and USDA Roll Back Costly Energy Code Requirement for FHA and USDA Loans

This week, the U.S. Departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Agriculture (USDA) officially rescinded a 2024 rule that required new homes built to the International Residential Code (including modular homes) to meet the 2021 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) in order to qualify for FHA or USDA‑backed mortgage loans. Even if they fully complied with state and local building codes, new homes would be disqualified from FHA or USDA financing if they did not meet the stricter 2021 energy code.
