Last week, MHI sponsored the 2025 Terwilliger Center Summit on Housing Supply Solutions, hosted by the Bipartisan Policy Center in Washington, D.C. The event brought together national leaders, policymakers and housing experts to explore bipartisan strategies for addressing the nation’s housing affordability crisis.

The summit featured a full day of panels and discussions focused on expanding housing supply and promoting innovative solutions. MHI hosted an exhibit table and engaged with attendees throughout the day, highlighting the critical role manufactured housing plays in meeting today’s housing needs.

A key moment came when HUD Secretary Scott Turner recognized manufactured housing during his remarks, underscoring the industry’s contributions to expanding access to quality, attainable housing. MHI will continue advancing policies that support HUD-Code homes as a critical part of the solution to the nation’s housing challenges.
