Manufactured Housing will take center stage in Washington, D.C. during Homeownership Month in June.

Manufactured homes will be on the National Mall June 7-9 as part of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)’s Innovative Housing Showcase.

MHI will support the event as a sponsor, and UMH is coordinating with CAVCO and Champion Homes to display homes on the National Mall as a part of this event.

California Regulator Extends Mitigation Fee for Manufactured Home Furnaces

On Friday, January 9, California’s South Coast Air Quality Management District (SC AQMD) unanimously approved (11–0) an extension of the mitigation fee for manufactured homes to comply with the low nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions limit of 14 nanograms per joule (ng/J) for natural gas central furnaces. The new deadline is September 30, 2030.
