Book Hotel Room

A limited number of rooms are available at The Mayflower Hotel until Monday, August 31st or until the block sells out. Reservations at The Mayflower Hotel can be made online or by calling (202) 347-3000. When calling in a reservation make sure to mention the “MHI Homes on the Hill/Annual Meeting,” to qualify for the rate.

Hotel cancellations at The Mayflower Hotel must be made 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid penalty. Rooms are reserved on a first come first serve basis. For issues booking hotel accommodations please contact events@mfghome.org.

IMPORTANT: MHI does NOT use any housing companies to coordinate reservations for the Homes on the Hill. All reservations must be made directly with The Mayflower Hotel. Please be careful if you are called/emailed by any company or service implying or claiming to be an official housing provider for MHI. We’ve been made aware of companies emailing and calling attendees and offering them rates our events. Often this is misleading or fraudulent information. If you are contacted by a housing company trying to sell you hotel rooms, please contact MHI at events@mfghome.org.

Valet parking rate is $73 Overnight / $42 Daily

Airport Information

Attendees traveling to Washington, D.C., may choose from three nearby airports. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is 4.3 miles from the hotel, Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is 28 miles away, and Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) is 36 miles from the hotel.

Transportation

Approved rideshare services (Uber and Lyft) and taxis are available at all three airports. Estimated one-way taxi fares to/from the hotel are approximately $25 from Reagan National Airport (DCA), $60-$80 from Dulles International Airport (IAD), and $65-$80 from Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI).

We recommend business attire for the MHI Homes on the Hill/Annual Meeting. Weather in Washington, D.C. during September typically ranges from highs of around 80°F to lows of approximately 60°F.
